Welcome to Ako Support.

After retiring from teaching in Auckland at the end of 2007, I did some relieving and then trained in Reading Recovery.  This I taught for 5 years until relocating to Tauranga in 2018.

It will be a privilege to work as Teacher Aide in Ruma 4 alongside Mrs Madelaine du Plessis and her class of eager learners, and to equip the tamariki with much more than academic knowledge. 

“For I will speak to you in a parable. I will teach you hidden lessons from our past – stories we have heard and known, stories our ancestors handed down to us.
