Mr Ross Bishop

Principal and Bible Teacher of Year 7 and 8 Class

 

Mrs Marie Hastings

Our Room Four teacher (Years 7 and 8) and Deputy Principal.

Well respected and loved teacher of our senior students whose experience and insightfulness brings real strength to our teaching team. Mrs Hastings also has responsibility for coordinating our special needs programme and directs our school band.

   

Mrs Sarah Watts

Our Room One teacher (Years 1 and 2)

Vibrant, enthusistic, unflappable and a friend to all! Not only a gifted teacher but a talented musician. Mrs Watts is our worship music coordinator and leads our school ukulele band.

   

 Miss Emma Weslake

Our part time teacher of our Year One students. (Currently teaches to noon each day)

A passion for nurturing our younger ones and a passion for beng a light in the community! Miss Weslake originally trained as a primary teacher but in more recent times has worked as a youth pastor and chaplain before returning to the classroom on a part time basis. Enjoys running in half marathons.

 Mrs Angela Rosborough

Class teacher of Room 2 (Years 3 and 4)

Mrs Rosborough comes to us from South Africa and has taught both in her home country and Korea. Not only an accomplished teacher but a friend to all and a real cat lover! 

 Miss Heather Bowden

Our Room Three teacher (Years 5 and 6)

Miss Bowden is our newest teacher on staff who joined the team part way through 2011 and is on a fixed term contract with us. Miss Bowden brings enthusiam for teaching into the classroom and has a heart for service. Her previous work was working in her local church in youth ministry.

Pastor Andrew West

Our school chaplain

Pastor Andrew comes to us from being manager of Tui Ridge Park in Rotorua. With extensive experience working with young people and with a love of the outdoors, Pastor Andrew has followed God's call to step into pastoral ministry as school chaplain, assistant pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and Pathfider director for North New Zealand.
